Collection: Neo Gourmets Chocolate

Néo Gourmets is first and foremost the story of Gaëlle, David and their three children! Because of a health concern Gaëlle, the mother had to completely remove fast sugars from her diet. Initially experienced as a real constraint, it quickly became a new way for the whole family and they wanted to share!

The Néo Gourmets adventure began in 2018 with the creation of a biscuit factory certified BIO by ECOCERT in Saint-Cyr-sur-Loire, in the heart of Touraine, in France. What follows is a human adventure made up of great encounters with a small team of enthusiasts who share the same values. They had the chance to cross paths with the French renowned Chef Thierry Marx who immediately recognised himself in their project and values. It is therefore quite natural that he became a partner of the small start-up in 2019. He is now fully part of the adventure and contributes to the development of all the recipes for cookies and chocolates. 

Going without a flavour enhancer is a real challenge nowadays. Sugar is known to have addiction-like effects on the brain, which is why it is so hard to go without. Replacing it with sweeteners, with rather questionable effects, is unfortunately not the solution. But the good news is that the less you eat sweet, the less you crave for it. In the long run, reducing the sugar intake may positively affect our bodies, both physically and mentally. There are good sugars, those naturally present in fruits. These are the ones Neo Gourmets team decided to use in their recipes. Their chocolates use no sweetener, no additives and have no scientific names on the ingredients list. It's just organic, tasty, natural and nothing else!

Neo Gourmets have returned to rawer, less processed and therefore healthier ingredients. The fruits are natural sweeteners, so they chose to use some in their recipes to show that we can do without added sugars. Nature does things well… Let's respect that!
